Angelo Medina
During the years, the entertainment industry is constantly changing. For some artist or bands it has been very easy to start up and move forward to the next step, others have tried hard and didn’t make it even one move. In those cases, we have to take a look at the team. A good team needs creativity and strategy. One of the most important people on that team is the artist manager. The artist management is one of the most important roles in the music and entertainment business. That’s why I’m going to talk a bit about Angelo Medina. He is an International music manager, producer and promoter. A Puerto Rican who has been an extremely important figure in the music industry. Medina has contributed greatly to the Latin music business skills for many years. He has worked with numerous Latin artists as a manager, including a rock band called Mana from Mexico, pop rock singer Ednita Nazario, the Urban group Calle 13, and above all he is responsible for the large American market success of Ricky Martin. Angelo Medina has won the respect of other managers in the Latin American market for his work on the exploitation of Ricky Martin in the American Grammys in 1999 with the song the “Cup of life” and “Living la vida Loca”. As well as another song written by other well-known Puerto Rican artist Robi Draco Rosa, who is managed by Angelo as well. Medina has been the first manager who has worked hard to have Latin artists heard by the American Market. As a person with a lot of experience he still says that every project that comes to his hands is a challenge for him. He believes though, that to always work with the heart like it’s going to be the most important event of the world, because at the end you will see a good result with the meaning of success.
